I think out of all the plush, these two has the most differences. The JP cape has beads sewn on, the US version has these silver circles sewn. The JP one also has a plastic snowflake on its front and on its ear. The US version is fabric shaped like a snowflake.
If you have a choice, get the JP one. I personally think out of the two its better.

What is interesting about this is that they didn't make a cup for Japan this year. This cup was only available at the US Pokemon Center.
