My Pikachu (2023)

The My Pikachu promotion was released on April 22, 2023 to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the Pokemon Center in Japan. 

It was announced that there were going to be Pikachu plush released with different expressions (mouth, hands, ears, eyes, gender, etc.), and these plush were only to be released in Pokemon Center stores in Japan.

No one knew how many variations of Pikachu plush was to be released. On the day of the release it was discovered that there were over 50 variants possible. There was no way to distinguish some of the variations besides the number on its tush tag. The hang tags were all the same. Even if the Pikachu had one type of pose/expression, there could be 3 different sizes of the same pose.

This promotion was to run April 22, 2023 to June 30, 2023. It sold out within 3 days in the Pokemon Center stores in Japan. A restock was released on October 14, 2023. This release included some new variants.

Based on this dropbox page, there are over 90 distinct tush tag numbers.

Since its probably not possible to get the whole set, I am going to try to get at least one of each pose (ears, eyes, mouth, hands, gender) but not of each size.

Also, since there isn't exactly an official way to describe the hands, ears, and eyes, I'm just going to call them what I think they look like.
